Art History Minor Requirements

A minimum of seven courses (19 credits), distributed as follows:

Two Visual Culture core courses

VISC 101	Intro to Visual Culture I	3
VISC 102	Intro to Visual Culture II	3

Three additional Art History or Visual Culture courses above 100-level

Four credits in Art, selected from:

ART 113	Drawing I	2
	And
ART 115	2-Dimensional Design	2
	Or
ART 180	Drawing and 2D Design	4
ART 116	Creative Technology	2
ART 165	3-Dimensional Design	2
ART 271	Introduction to Ceramics: Hand Building	4
ART 213	Introduction to Digital Media	4
ART 276	Introduction to Glass	4
ART 221	Intro to Painting: Acrylics	4
ART 241	Introduction to Photography: Pinholes to Pixels	4
ART 262	Introduction to Sculpture	4
	Any Printmaking course

Requirements for the minor in Art History which accompanies a major in Art: the student will complete the Art major as described in the catalog and then complete six additional credits in Art History beyond those required to fulfill the major.
