About
The major in Digital Marketing provides students with the most vital and in-demand skills in the field. In our courses, students learn about essential digital platforms for marketing including social media platforms, email, SMS, and search engines. Through hands-on projects designed with feedback from industry experts, students practice using the backend tools used for each platform, develop data analytics skills to interpret results for informed decision-making, and gain experience presenting their findings clearly and effectively. Graduates of the digital marketing program achieve the most valuable skills possible and that the curriculum incorporates the most cutting-edge technologies and tools, such as Large Language Models and Generative AI tools.
Note on Double majors and minors within the Business Administration and Accounting Department:
Students work with their advisors to identify a minor in a discipline outside the business department. A minor in accounting or finance can fulfill this requirement; however, only 6 credits can be shared between the business major and the associated minor. A double major (outside the department) also satisfies this requirement. It is not possible to double major in Business Administration and Digital Marketing or Sport Management (only one Business Administration major can be selected). It is possible to double major in Accounting. It is also possible to minor in Sport Management or Digital Marketing; again only 6 credits can double count.
