About
The Nutrition minor at Hartwick College is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge of nutrition science, including food science, medical nutrition therapy, and lifecycle health. The program complements majors in biology, chemistry, education, and sports-related fields, and it supports exploration of nutrition-related careers or graduate study. While the Nutrition minor provides foundational academic preparation, it does not, by itself, qualify students for licensure or credentialing as a registered dietitian or nutritionist.

Note About Consortium Programs
This major, minor, or concentration is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. All courses within the program are delivered by faculty employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Hartwick College. Students register through Hartwick College and receive academic credit from Hartwick College.
