BUSA 597 Case Study Proposal
Based on ideation in BUSA510 Organizational Leadership and BUSA542 Global Strategic Management, students deliberately move forward with practical ideas for a culminating case study. This course helps them formulate and propose a professional case study. This 1-credit seminar provides students with the advanced structural frameworks and methodological tools required to design a rigorous, executive-level corporate case study proposal. Focusing on real world organizational challenges, students learn how to identify high-impact business problems, secure institutional access, conduct preliminary literature mapping, and establish a valid qualitative or quantitative research framework. Through intensive peer-review workshops and iterative drafts, learners translate a complex organizational dilemma into a formal, structured thesis or capstone proposal. This course prepares students to launch their independent capstone initiatives with data-driven clarity, ethical compliance, and structural alignment.
