PHED 107 Indoor Cycling Bikes and Bells
This course blends the best of indoor cycling and the basics of kettlebell training. Indoor cycling is an organized group training program using a specialized stationary bike with a weighted fly wheel. Training sessions simulate an outdoor ride - flat roads, hill climbs, sprints and races. With a focus on different energy zones: endurance, strength, interval, race days and recovery. Kettlebells create the need to counterbalance and stabilize the body during exercises. Kettlebell training improves functional strength and core power by targeting multiple muscle groups at once. Course fee required.
