EDUC 379 Methods for Teaching Special Education

This course provides students with an understanding of evidence-based methods of instruction in special education in grades K-12. Students will be presented with an opportunity to learn and apply different methods and strategies of effective special education instruction. Emphasis will be placed on engagement strategies, skills instruction, and IEP development to meet individual student needs.
