ART 343 Intermediate Photography: Basics of Digital Photography
Students learn the fundamentals of the Digital Single Lens Reflex camera, image capture, the Lightroom/Photoshop editing software as well as supervised printing in the digital darkroom.. A series of assignments will lead students to develop a portfolio of color photographic images. For art majors, documentary photography minors and non-majors. $100 Lab Fee plus materials (USB drive, external hard drive, SD cards). Students may use lab computers and also choose to purchase Lightroom and Photoshop software at student rates for their own laptops. Nikon DSLR cameras are available as “loaners.” Offered yearly.
