ART 387 Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality
In this course students learn the basics of designing for augmented and virtual reality experiences, and how they are used in today’s society. Students learn how to create media content for both augmented reality and virtual realities by utilizing smartphone apps and web based computer applications. Apps covered include Artivive and Membit, software covered includes Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere. This course covers practical skills that are important for both creating and understanding these new 21st century forms of communication. This is an intermediate level course.
