SOCI 322 Population and Ecology
A study of the social, cultural and environmental forces that affect population trends: the size, growth, composition, distribution, fertility, mortality and migration of human populations. Current historical and cross-cultural problems in population, food, health and environment will be explored. In particular, the impact of post-colonialism is examined in a cultural context. Prerequisite: SOCI 105
