BIOL 206 Human Anatomy & Physiology I With 3 Hr Lab (Nursing)

An introductory course designed for nursing majors that emphasizes the important concepts, terminology, and interrelationships of human structure and function. Following an introduction to some general features of anatomy and physiology, BIOL 206 proceeds with hierarchical study of atoms and molecules, cells and tissues, and organs and organ systems with emphasis on the integument, skeleto-muscular and nervous systems (including special senses). This course does not fulfill any requirement in the biology major. Prerequisite: None
