ENGL 231 British Literature: Enlightenment to Contemporary

Examines British literature from the Romantics through Contemporary literature. Emphasis will be on the characteristics of specific literary works and of the characteristic forms within an historical period, as well as the interactions between literature and culture during a historical period.
