POSC 296 Health Policy and Politics

This course will explore health policy in the United States examining the role of public opinion, political parties, the president, Congress, the Courts, and the bureaucracy in crafting and implementing health policy. The course will engage an intersectional lens to explore all facets of health politics and politics from the perspective of race, ethnicity, gender, gender orientation, sexual orientation, class, and ability status.
