ESST 235 Ecology and the Environment
An introduction to the scientific study of interactions between living organisms and their environment. Students will learn the basics of the scientific method as applied to ecology, practice interpreting ecological data in graphical and tabular form, and understand the basic principles of how the natural world works, and learn some ways that humans interact with and affect the Earth.
