BIOL 293 Introduction to Ecology & Evolution
An introduction to fundamental principles in evolutionary biology and ecology and experimental approaches used for discovery in this field. We will study the mechanisms of evolution, patterns and general characteristics of biological diversity, and the ecology of populations, communities, and ecosystems. This course is required for majors in biology. BIOL 293 is a prerequisite for all 300- and 400-level courses in biology.
