ARTH 306 20th Century Art History

This course explores the major developments in art around the world from 1900-1999 within their historical, political, and cultural contexts. Readings will be drawn mostly from primary sources written by artists and supplemented with new exhibition catalogue essays, articles, and critical reviews from newspapers and major art journals. Offered every other year.
