Religious Studies Major Requirements
In consultation with faculty in Religious Studies, students will design a course of study in Religious Studies for a minimum of 35 credits, including a 3-credit senior project (RELS 490). At least 3 courses need to be taken at the 200 level or above and at least 2 courses need to be taken at the 300 level or above. With permission from RELS faculty, courses from other disciplines, internships, directed studies, and independent studies can be built into the major.

Recommended Sequence:
Students are strongly encouraged to take at least two of the survey courses (100 level) with two different instructors early in their college careers, certainly by the end of the sophomore year.
