CISC 106 Business Computing

A literacy course providing an introduction to the nature and use of computers and software in a business environment. Topics include information processing and the use of computers in problem-solving in the business world. Students learn to use the intermediate features of word processor, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to solve business problems and present their findings. This course is for students not planning to major or minor in computer science.
