BIOL 490 Senior Project
In collaboration with a Hartwick biology faculty member, the student must identify a research question of manageable scope and scientific significance; construct one or more hypotheses or perspectives that address the question; locate relevant background information from published, peer-reviewed resources; conduct a thorough analysis of evidence and synthesize them into new knowledge or original insights; and complete a research plan using appropriate scientific procedures. 4 credits total, typically split equally between Fall and Spring semesters.
