BIOL 192 Introduction to Organismal Biology
(4 credits) (3 one-hour lectures, 1 three-hour laboratory weekly; spring semester). An introduction to fundamental principles that govern physiological processes within organisms and experimental approaches used for discovery in this field. We will study cell division, inheritance, reproduction, and the relationship between anatomical structure and function. This course is required for majors in biology biochemistry, and medical technology. BIOL 192 is a prerequisite for all 300- and 400-level courses in biology.
