BIOL 101 Biology in Practice 3HR Lab
(Topic varies) (4 credits; 3 one-hour lectures and 1 three-hour laboratory weekly) The Biology in Practice series of introductory Biology courses is designed to teach students to find, understand, and communicate scientific information, construct and test hypotheses, and make connections between science and society, in the context of a particular scientific topic. Laboratories will stress hands-on participation in topic-related experimental design and procedures. Prerequisites: None.
