SCIE 144L Health Assessment Lab
Health Assessment Theory and Laboratory offers the student experience in holistic health assessment. Synthesizing knowledge from the biological and behavioral sciences, students develop further skill in therapeutic communication, interviewing, data collection, psychosocial assessment and physical examination. The course is presented through a body systems approach incorporating age related changes, normal and abnormal variations, and racial and cultural considerations. Practical skills are applied in the laboratory and/or clinical setting.
