PHYS 305 Atomic and Nuclear Physics

This is an introduction to quantum theory and general relativity. Some of the topics studied are the photoelectric effect, the Bohr model of the hydrogen atom, Schrödinger's equation and its solutions, four-vectors and tensors, and relativistic physics. Offered alternate years.
