ENGL 305 Advanced Journalism
Using the basic skills of reporting and writing, students will progress to a more complex storytelling in individual and group projects. Types of news projects include participatory journalism, interpreting data, features, profiles and localizing U.S. and international news. Students will compile a portfolio of their work and design a resumé for use in future job searches. Does not count as a literature or creative writing course. Offered alternate Spring Terms.
