ART 231 Introduction to Printmaking: Relief
Students learn processes associated with relief printmaking (such as linoleum cut, woodcut, letterpress and collagraph) in this seven- week course, which runs during the first half of the term. Editions (limited series of identical prints on paper) are required. Papermaking and book arts may be included. There is no prerequisite but drawing or design experience is strongly encouraged. Suitable for majors and non-majors. $50 lab fee and cost of materials.
