Course Withdrawal
Following the add/drop period, a student may withdraw from a full term course through the ninth week of fall and spring term and the third week of January term. Courses meeting for less than the full term, including 1 or 2 credit directed/independent studies, must adhere to withdrawal deadlines posted on the official academic dates and deadlines calendar.
A grade of ‘W’ is issued for all course withdrawals. A student who wishes to withdraw from a course may do so using Self-Service or by submitting the request in writing to the Registrar’s Office, using a Course Add/Drop Form, by the deadline. A student who withdraws from one or more courses may need to repay any state financial aid received and/or may be subject to academic leave or dismissal under the Academic Standards of Progress policy found elsewhere in the catalog.
