CRMJ 350 Comparative Criminal Justice

An individualized readings course tailored to the organizational, administrative, and philosophical principles of criminal justice systems around the world. The course will provide criminal justice research of two or more countries to compared and contrast. This course studies the similarities and differences in structures, goals and emphasis on rights as well as the history of different systems. This course also explores different types of societies, their methods of enforcement, and their different types of punishment. This course counts as an elective for sociology and criminal justice. Prerequisite: SOCI 105 and CRMJ 110
