ART 317 Experimental Drawing
Students work toward evolving personal, individual approaches to Drawing at a higher level. Instruction is strongly individualized, with students creating a personal body of work over the course of the semester. The class will be stacked with other Drawing courses. Students will be required to come up with a theme to explore over the course of the semester (this may or may not align with the course it is stacked with); critiques and deadlines for the course will align with those for the class it is stacked with. . Philosophical and theoretical issues about Drawing are addressed through discussion and critique. This course may be repeated twice. Pre-req: ART 217
