CISC 315 Big Data/Informatics

Students will gain knowledge on analyzing Big Data, which refers to the volume of data that can be used and collected by modern computing systems. Heavy volumes of data bring with them their own problems and trends.  This course serves as an introductory course for students who are likely to face Big Data storage, processing, analysis, visualization, and application issues in both workplaces and research environments.
